The Wellington Cardiac Services

The Wellington Hospital has extensive cardiac facilities including cardiology and cardio-thoracic surgery. With several leading cardiac surgeons and cardiologists, a highly skilled team of radiographers, cardiac technicians and nurses, the hospital has one of the largest private cardiology and cardiac surgical programmes in Europe.

The Unit offers both intensive care and coronary care beds, three dedicated theatres and three cardiac catheterisation laboratories, helping to make the department a leader in its field with services ranging from ultrasound monitoring to coronary angioplasty, pacemaker implanting and coronary artery bypass grafting, including minimal invasive techniques.
