The Wellington Hospital has extensive cardiac facilities including cardiology and cardio-thoracic surgery. With many leading cardiologists, a highly skilled team of cardiac physiologists, radiographers and nurses, the hospital has one of the largest private cardiology and cardiac surgical programs in Europe.Having recently undergone major refurbishment we have three dedicated operating theatres, three cardiac catheterisation laboratories and a bright, spacious purpose built echocardiography and non invasive suite occupying the entire 1st floor of the North building. The cardiology department is fully equipped with the very latest equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of many different forms of cardiac problems from chest pain to heart attacks and palpitations to blackouts.
